The British Country Music Association held its 12th BCMA Awards at the weekend 21/22 October in Wolverhampton, UK
A sell out audience were treated to a 4 hour spectacular of music and award presentations hosted by Baylen Leonard from the BBC. The event was filmed for future broadcast.
Artists who performed included Southern Halo (USA), Penny Jayne Black (UK), Journey Home (UK), Jade Helliwell (UK), Kevin McGuire (UK), Sarah Darling (USA), Jenn Bostic (USA), Laura Oakes (UK), Deanne Dexeter (UK),
American Young (USA), and Outlander (UK)
Most of the UK winners were in attendance including Ward Thomas who flew in from Nashville for the show. International winners, The Shires, and Southern Companion sent in an acceptance video
On the Saturday night a Best of British Show was held at The Robin 2 in Wolverhampton with performances from Megan O’Neill, Gary Quinn, Sarah Darling (special guest), Simon James Band, Darcy and his band, and Raintown. A full house enjoyed 4 hours of live country music.

Country to Country; Europe's biggest country music festival is back for its sixth year from Friday 9th to Sunday 11th March 2018 with another incredible line up that fans can expect from the C2C team.
Bob Harris announced the line up at the official launch party at Bush Hall on Friday, 6th October. He told the crowd that joining Faith Hill, Tim McGraw and Little Big Town will be one of America’s biggest country stars, Kacey Musgraves who will headline the festival for the very first time. Joining the stellar headliners are multi-platinum and acclaimed artists Emmylou Harris, Kip Moore, Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Combs, Margo Price and Midland. The C2C Spotlight Stage will return with performances from Ashley McBryde, Jillian Jacqueline, Lindsay Ell and Lukas Nelson.
The festival brings three days of the best in country music and programming that fans have come to love and expect with performances from the world’s best country stars as well as emerging talent from Nashville, UK and Europe.
For the first time and due to popular demand C2C Glasgow will now take place at The SSE Hydro having grown out of the Clyde Auditorium.
Tickets go on general sale at 10am on Friday 20th October, 2017.
